    Dear mahin12,

Welcome to the BCO community. We are sorry for your breast cancer diagnosis but happy that you reached out to our members. We hope that you find support and information here that will be a help. Can you say a bit more about what you mean by supplement so that we can best respond to your question? The Mods

    Thank you,

I meant like is there any special vitamins or any special kind of pills might help, I've heard there are some kind of pills called BreastDefend that might slow down the cancer .or like Bee Propolis capsules

IMO, if there were evidence-based supplements our oncologists would be telling us about them.

There are only a handful of vitamins that come up as possible helps & they seem to be more about managing symptoms and side effects of chemo. Remember to discuss all supplements with your oncologist because many appear to interfere with chemotherapy.

Memorial Sloan Kettering has a database of various herbal remedies which you might want to browse through but note their comment:
"People undergoing treatment for cancer should not receive any dietary supplements unless they're prescribed by a doctor or given as part of a clinical trial that's received Institutional Review Board approval."

My MO did not want me taking anything. Not even a multivitamin. His comment was we don't want anything providing energy to the cancer we are trying to kill. I would at least talk to your MO before you take anything

Also told not to take any supplements during chemo or radiation as it can adversely affect treatment.
