Itchy hot flashes on Tamoxifen

I've been on tamoxifen since December of 2016. I've had the regular hot flashes off and on since then. For the last two months, I've been having waves of itching along with the hot flashes. The first ones were so bad they woke me up with the itching. I'm as hydrated as I can be without peeing all the time. Anyone have any experience with this? Really frustrated

    I've never been on Tamoxifen but I started taking letrozole (an AI) in December. I've had hot flashes throughout (similar to the ones I had during menopause) but in the past couple of months I've had a sort of itchiness/feeling of being stabbed by thousands of needles. At first I thought I was having an allergic reaction, but I'd already been on it for about 2 months so an allergy was unlikely. It drives me nuts too. I have no idea if there's any way to get rid of this without stopping the medication.
