Periodic spontaneous pain

hi all,

DX left breast DCIS 3/6/17. BMX 3/31/17 with immediate direct implant reconstruction. Small fat grafting done in September to even out a few ripples. Results are amazing.

However, I periodically get shooting pains in the breast that had DCIS. To the point where I demanded an ultrasound. Us indicated scar tissue and nerve damage. Anyone else? I feel like I'm getting stabbed sometimes... it takes my breath away.

Oh yes. Angry nerves. It does get better over time....I'm talking a year. If it gets worse or you can't stand it

Gabapentin might help. Felt like an ice pick to me

thank you for your reply. Although I hate that anyone of us has to have this, I feel comfort that I'm not alone.
