MRI and Ductogram show possible DCIS

Hello all,


I had a MRI and Ductogram, both came back with possible DCIS. I go for a ductal excision on Monday but I am very curious on what the reality of having DCIS is. Has anyone had similar results but everything turned out ok? Or is this a case of, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck its probably a duck. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m sure you’ll get biopsy results after the excision. Waiting is hard but that’s when you’ll know the bottom line. If it’s DCIS, they might suggest radiation. There are many threads on that here, but it’s really not too bad (and pretty soon it’s out of your brain space).
