After three years clear of breast cancer I tested positive for the PAL-B2 gene. This is fairly new. I decided to be proactive and have a double mastectomy. Because of the radiation to my left side I had to do a DIEP flap and then on the right side a silicone implant. I am one week post op and doing well. I am not happy with the look of my silicone implant because I opted for nipple removal to make them look even with tattoos. Where the nipple was removed, I have a flat scar incision that totally changes the shape of my breast. Has anyone else had this done? The flap side looks great and is nicely shaped
