Thickening of tissue near armpit
Hi all first time,
So I noticed a hardish lump/mass in left breast played with it for two weeks finally got partner to see if he could feel it bearly touched me an said yep get that looked at.
So off to doc's I went a few days later she had a feel an said it feels like a thickning didn't seem to worried but said she would send me for u/s no mammogram as I'm only 34.
A bit of history I always check my breast as I have lumpy/dence breast anyway been to doc's a few times when they were growing in. Well a few months ago I had a small lump in other breast which I knew was a cyst by the feel of it they drained an was fine, but this new one has got me worried it feels deep hard doesn't move much an deffo wasn't there when I found the cyst. It's very close to the outside of my left breast theres just something about it that has me worried I know what dence breast tissue feels like I know what a cyst feels like I know that when I get my period my tissue swells/gets thicker/lumpyer this is very different to any of that.
Well I had a missed call today from the clinic saying to call them for emergency appointment (I didn't get it till this evening) but if the doc didn't seem worried would it be an emergency appointment? Or that just standard because of what it could be?
I've been doing the Google read of shame which we all know we shouldn't do but does it sound like lobular cancer to anyone?
Thanks

Well thanks for that I thought this was ment to be a support group. I was just saying this feels different to anything else I have known an really my question was should I b worried they r getting me in so fast but again thanks guess this is the wrong place!

They are likely trying to get you in for imaging quickly so that you don't have to worry about it too long. I wouldn't read too much into it. It's good that you check your breasts regularly and you noticed this change. Keeping fingers crossed that it turns out to be nothing

If they see something odd on the US they may need a mammogram right after to further evaluate it despite your age. This is an accepted practice but they may not be able to perform it if your doctor's order does not include a phrase similar to "ultrasound with mammogram to follow if deemed necessary by the radiologist". They will otherwise have to call your doc for an order which may delay things a bit.
Good luck.

I can’t remember the exact statistic, but something like 85% of these callbacks are nothing. Try not to worry, though I know you will anyway. Hugs.

So I went to see specialist on Thursday night at 7pm which I thought they were going to scan then but was just a specialist to have a feel he said could feel the lump on the left breast but also had a feel of the right breast where my last cyst was he said he felt something deep in that side too he then said he was quietly confident that they were cysts an said I needed to come bk on Saturday for the actual US he also said at the time he wanted a biopsy done, he said ask them to do there if they have time and if not send me bk to him an he will do it.
So went for scan today the doc was in the room for about three minutes dismissed they biopsy the other doc had mentioned didn't even lay a finger on the lump in left or the right, brushed over both breast wiv US an said looks like dence tissue/lumps an left saying I'd get report in six weeks.
I'm unsure what to do now I know an mean I know this lump is new as I'm aware I have dence breast an have always checked them it deffo wasn't there when I had a cyst a few months ago. And if everyone can feel this lump but it's not a cyst should I push for more tests?
