My name of MJ DeCoteau and I am the executive director of Rethink Breast Cancer (www.rethinkbreastcancer.com) – a Canadian patient group dedicated to building community for young women dealing with breast cancer and providing support and resources to help them live the best quality of life.

We are looking for woman with HER2-positive early breast cancer and women who have been treated with Herceptin-Perjeta (pertuzumab-trastuzumab) combination therapy to talk about their treatment experience.

The Canadian government will soon be reviewing the use of Herceptin-Perjeta to treat HER2-positive early breast cancer that is node-positive or hormone receptor-negative, and Rethink Breast Cancer will be making a submission to ensure that patient voices are represented and considered during the review process.

If you are interested in talking about your experiences, we would like to ask you to complete this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R76HZXY

If you would like to speak with us directly about your cancer or treatment experience, you can contact Shawna Rich-Ginsberg at shawna@rethinkbreastcancer.com.

We would also like to invite your family or friends to talk about their experience caring for a patient being treated with Herceptin-Perjeta: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RD79RF3

Hello, correct me if I misunderstand! But your posting would appear to be asking people with early stage her2+ breast cancer who received treatment with Herceptin/Perjeta to share their experience of taking these drugs? Are you aware that your posting appeared in a metastatic group who are on this protocol for life? Surely our peer groups experiences are not what you are seeking?

    I stand to be corrected.

    Dear FM508,

We welcome feedback from anyone with Herceptin-Perjeta experience. While early HER2+ breast cancer is the medical indication for this submission, metastatic patients can still offer insights about your experience with this treatment, the tolerability of side effects, and your willingness to accept those side effects for improved health outcomes.

    MJ
