Breast like play-doh? Dimpling??

Hello! I'm new here... I'm concerned. I'm currently breastfeeding my 5 month old, and last night while I was feeding her, I noticed my left breast indented and stayed that way when I pressed it. Felt like play doh(still does). I've breastfed 3 kids now over the course of 6 years, and my breast has never been like this . Then went to the mirror and looked and noticed there are many dimples on my left breast, left side. Right breast doesn't have this either. When I put my arms up I notice them more. I'm only 31. No history in my family of breast cancer (although , history in family of ovarian, if that's worth mentioning.) I've been breastfeeding for over 6 years now- I mention this because it's supposed to lower the breast cancer risk.

Does any of this sound concerning? I feel no lump anywhere. Also, on my left breast , my veins are much more prominent and buldging in spots. No strange nipple discharge, no hard or any lumps I can find...

I'm kind of freaking out...

Hello Md102, and welcome! We are sorry that you are here and worried, but glad you've found us!

Although it doesn't sound like a typical breast cancer symptom, it's very important to get any breast changes checked out by a doctor. Perhaps going to see your gynecologist would be a good start, and it will also help ease your concerns. Let us know what you learn!

    Best wishes,

Sometimes a blocked milk duct during breast feeding can cause changes. I do think all changes should be evaluated
