For the past umteen months each day gets a bit harder BUT I found out something that helps us cook and not spend time aching from standing etc which I can no longer do, and dh is so helpful but I cant let him do all that along with all the other stuff he is doing...I started and its not daily i use them, but I started using schwans food truck, the frozen food people... oh i just have to brag on them, as I cant get to the grocery store or stand and cook etc..its a bit pricy but in the long run it does save in so many ways if you pick and choose of whats in your pantry...and i actually love their food, as i am a very picky eater and i have found in many sections of their catalogue there are healthy life style foods, that the longest one took one hour to cook...it served 10 people, and I tried it out when my family was coming to town and i knew we would have at least 4 people daily for 4 days... this roast thing was in a plastic bag with gravy juices and i plopped it in a large roasting pan with the juices and I cut up a bunch of red potatoes and surrounded it around the roast with a bit of olive oil, covered it with foil for one hour, and voile' perfect, it went and we eat tons, and is was delecious , as Im not a big eater and will go without if im too tired...so now i am trying new foods as its just me and hubby and meals that are for like 2 people are perfect for us as we always have left overs, and meals for 4 last us about 3 days and are so easy...and they have great hordedorves which can be for the tiney meals i munch on thru the day and are healthy....and there are not alot of pots and pans to clean up, and the only thing we have to do is go to grocery store for fresh veggies, and milk/eggs, ,or stuff like that, and hubby does that...sure does make our lifes so easy as before it would take me forever and a day to prepare a good healthy meal, and by the time I was done, I was too tired to eat and needed to go lay down, NOW I can eat a delecious meal, and I can beat Rachel Ray at time and have a good meal 10 minutes!....I have their new catalogue and they show you how to mix and match their foods with your pantry items for diff things to eat...plus the deserts ohhhhhhhh vry good, and thier french bread is out of this world when you wait 5 min to thaw then slice it lenghth wise add some buter n' some of that already in a jar crushed garlic and po it in the oven as my main meal just came out and can sit for those 10 min and add a fresh veggie or the meal may come with it....it has saved me from trying too hard in the kitcen and i just wanted to share MY NEW receipes....Plus I dont have to think as hard of what were going to eat, as we can have some left over roast along with some good cheesy biscuits and if Im intergetic I can stir fry, my favorite garlic fresh carrots...ummmmm..

I order from Omaha Steaks.....actually better than Swanns IMO and UPS guy just leaves it at your door. Not just steaks as the name implies, they have a chicken cordon bleu that is to die for. As well as fish, side dishes etc with a little cookbook and it is fast and easy. Marsha

I also go to Costco or Sam's Club and buy the individually frozen chicken breasts, huge packs of tortollini or ravioli and big bags of frozen vegetables.

It's so easy to take one piece of tin foil, lay it flat and then place a frozen chicken breast on top of that, put some frozen veggies on the chicken and then fold up the sides (so it's like a pouch or a tent so air can circulate). Stick in the oven or on the bbq and it's easy!

Well you guys we both have beeb trying so hard to get a decent meal, yet tbere are those times that even Shwanns just cant win with easyness, and yep thats when PB and J come in handy, plus its nutricious...

But having pueneys again, and chicken noodle soup just doesnt get it, I started again, on the tuna, and it HAS to be fresh water solid white tuna only.....and dont like to mash it...and put it on a toasted bread and im happy and my tummy is happy, as I dont do big meals at all, ....

and guess what being i hate gatorade of all kinds, as I just cant get into it ever! I found a Gatorade since I dehydrate so easy, and its called Rain H20 and its not the gastly dark color of flavor, found it at Target and its a very very lite color which in my mind means its not going to gag me with sweet yuck, so I can finally get someting else in me besides water, as thats all i ever drink, and the dehydration it makes it happy and the flavor we found was berrry Gatorade Rain.... check it out if you have problems with gettikng liquids in you except water...
