Molly, i guess i give an impression of calm but not in fact. When i go to docs and they take my bp........at times it is way high even though i take a strong bp pill. I know my cancer is such that it can be treated but not cured. I wonder at times if my original treatment was correct that was almost 10 years ago. I try to do things that are calming .

Molly, have you learned MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) self-massage yet? There are YouTube videos demo-ing it. It's slow but quite easy. It really helped me when my LE flared up.
We're in Mildly Neurotic Town right now. Picked Gordy up from his gf's to take him to an appt., and ended up having to go to Immediate Care instead. Long story short, he officially has Type A flu. He didn't get his flu shot, but lest I get too cocky one of the strains against which this year's vax is ineffective is in the Type A group. Oh, joy. He took the first pill in our family emergency Tamiflu stash (then we got his own Rx filled), but I'd better not unless I either get a positive nasal swab too or develop clear symptoms. His case was dx'ed so early--cold sweat, nausea, headache, lightheadedness, pounding heart--that his temp is normal and he didn't get muscle aches yet...which is not to say he won't. I don't want to waste a pill if I don't feel any more than mildly queasy and very slightly headachy. Got into the early-voting polling place just under the wire--good thing I did, in case I'd be in no shape to handle the Primary Day fustercluck over at the church tomorrow.
-
Hope you and Gordy both feel better quickly, Sandy!
-
Molly ..glad to hear Wyatt is going O.K..
Sandy ..hope you and Gordy are on the mend .
I'm on baby sitting duty tonight while my daughter and her hubby go to the Ed Sheeran concert .I asked the grand-kids what they want for dinner tonight and they said sausages and cooked onions in a bun ..yay ..too easy 🙂
Hugs to all

Gordy's feeling a bit better but still taking it easy--he's added Jell-O to his preferred menu of the moment. I'm holding steady--sinus-y and drippy nose probably due to pollens more than anything else. We've been disinfecting surfaces, handles, doorknobs like crazy, washing hands a lot and using only paper towels to dry them.
Have my annual ophthalmologist visit & refraction tomorrow. Might have to decide which of my glasses are worth having the lenses replaced in case my prescription changes.

Stay safe, Iris--can you call a medi-car or HC-access taxi to get you & your rollator to the scan facility?
The world turned upside down this winter--the Northeast has gotten Chicago's weather.
