hello, this is my very first time posting on this board . I am so terribly scared. I am 37, mother of 5... one begin in kindergarten. About 6 months ago I felt a lump on my breast but we had no insurance .. so afraid I'd be diagnosed with something I had to wait until we had insurance. Now we do, and I have an appointment tomorrow with my PCP.

I have a lump and a line indention on the right side of my breast. When I raise my arm the line disappears. Also this breast seems slightly larger.

I am so worried. Anyone have this happen and it turn out to be something besides breast cancer? I have no family history of breast cancer on either side of my family. We do have a history of lumpy breasts

Hi Mommy5---welcome to BCO (and sorry you are joining us). Your PCP is probably going to send you for imaging (even if they feel like it's nothing they usually like to make sure)--so you might have a bit of a wait until you get some answers. Keep us updated on what happens and hang in there!

    Hi Mommy.

There are other things that can account for what you are describing, but only, at the very least, imaging, and possibly a biopsy, can tell you exactly what is going on.

Most things are B9, but you need to have it checked out. Glad you have an appointment. Expect to be sent, at the very least, for a mammo and/or US

I wanted to update you ladies. I had imaging and a ultrasound today and no signs of cancer. Thank you to all of you for your support. Anyone who is suffering from breast cancer, my prayers are with you and I pray healing over you. God bless
