Letrozole and Levothyroxin

I've seen occasional messages about starting hormone therapy and indications of thyroid issues. I've been on Levothyroxin for thyroid for close to 30 years. I've been stable a long time and hoping to stay that way.

Just wondering if anyone had thyroid disease before starting hormone therapy and whether any suggestions were made to have your thyroid checked more frequently while under treatment?

I just started Letrozole this past week. I forgot to ask the MO but he also saw it in my history and didn't mention it so I am hoping it is not an issue....

Much appreciated for any advice or experiences from others.

    I’ve been on synthroid for 14 years and femara for 3 months. Just had my physical and TSH was same as last visit 6 months ago. Keep in mind that I don’t have a thyroid at all. If you’re wondering about nodule or goiter issues I wouldn’t be able to chime in.
