Fatigue??
In the last three weeks I have felt fatigued to the point that I am unable to move. I am waking up just to nap. In that time frame I found a lump in my breast and saw a dr I have an US on Tuesday. I am just wondering if anyone else experienced fatigue before diagnose.

Oh yes, the damn fatigue 😜 I use to be a lot more active but have been the opposite since I found the mass in my breast. I’m guessing it’s the stress on is

Acy1979, Your body may be fighting something totally different as well. Please let us know what your tests show, and wishing you that your lump is benign! Sending good thoughts, and wishing you all the very best!

I was tired for a couple of months before diagnosis, however I wasn’t what I would call fatigued, just more sluggish. It was however a very busy and stressful time at work, in my life (my mom had just died and I was renovating a house on my own). So it may have just been a coincidence. I was however anemic years ago, and the fatigue I experienced when anemic was severe, and in line with your symptoms.
There are so many things that could cause you to be tired that are way more likely that breast cancer. As Aliceinchvains mentions, even the stress of thinking about the lump could cause added fatigue. And of course most breast lumps turn out not to be breast cancer. It is great you are getting the lump checked out ASAP, however the odds of it not being breast cancer are on your side, so try not to stress out about it (hard, I know). I found a lump in my other breast last week, I got an ultrasound, and it seems it is a clogged milk duct.

I don't recall feeling particularly fatigued prior to my diagnosis. In fact, things were looking pretty good at the time. I never had pain, never felt a lump. Then they found something on a routine mammo. Boom! Cancer.

There could be a thyroid problem especially if associated with weight fluctuation.

I had terrible fatigue 6 months leading up to diagnosis, to the point of asking myself why the heck I was so tired after sleeping solid all night. That said, I was also raising a child by myself, working full time at a VERY demanding job that paid mediocre wages and going through a separation...so who knows. As the others above me said it could be anything from fighting off a cold to thyroid. I’m crossing my fingers and toes for you this Tuesday...remember that 80% of lumps are benign...so the odds are on your side. Let us know how things go please

Overwhelming fatigue and mental fog. Accompanied by very low body temps-95.2 F one cold winter night was surreal-I was going to bed each night in my down coat under blankets with the thermostat set on 78. Dry skin, hoarse voice, and a host of other bizarre possible symptoms including hair growth. I started taking an OTC supplement of iodide and chlorophyllin. Fluctuating temps now-occasional sweats. My TSH lab test was always normal but a co-worker tells me her dr said that is the wrong test.
