Coming to you live....
BOB: I'm here live folks from the 1st annual Call Back Diagnostic Mammogram Academy Awards! My lovely co-host Susan is here to give you all the nitty gritty on this nerve wracking event...over to you Susan!
SUSAN: Hi Bob, none of us are happy to be here but what can ya do?!? I'll get right to it. This years hopeful Egads007 is looking simply fab-u-loss in a classic double gown look, blue on green detailed with lovely ties at the back that never stay tied.
BOB: who IS her designer Susan?
SUSAN: Egads007 ONLY ever goes with the Breast Cancer Clinic Chic label Bob...it's cotton, cool, comfy and shapeless!
BOB: Well we're hoping things go her way inside...rumour has it her name was highlighted in red on the registration list while everyone else was green so she's having an internal freak out but hanging in to the end of this show!
SUSAN: we'll be back to you folks with results once the big show is over! How can she lose with an outfit like that!!
**UPDATE**
BOB: Well folks it’s a sweep! Best lumpectomy scar tissue fold over on screening mammogram, Best looking benign cysts, Best actress for bravery, Best ugly crying when Radioligist declares everything looks great, Best ‘see ya next year’. Fastest clothing change and burnt pathway out of clinic, Best kiss with hubby in parking lot ever! Here’s an excerpt from Egads007’s winning speech... “I’d like to thank the academy of amazing beautiful women, Mods and friends at Breastcancer.org for all the loving and concerned support during this stressful wait. I realize I’m only as good as my last mammogram, but im determined to sweep again next year....with sanity because of all of you...yup, every last one of you!”
BOB: Unmmm, ok Egads007, shut up and go back to your boring little life...just liked you wanted to. Over and out.
This broadcast had been brought to you by the the Nervous Nelly Association, worrying and waiting endlessly for many years, or seems so. Void where prohibited.
