CT Scan before DIEP Flap

Hi All!
I am having my reconstruction (DIEP FLAP) on March 16th. My doc just told me he needs me to get a CT scan before the surgery so he can study my blood vessel anatomy. I guess I am happy he wants to get all the ducks in a row before he cuts me open, but I didn't expect it and am grateful the hospital was able to squueze me in tomorrow.
Is there anything I should be concerned about?

Not really. I had it before my surgery. It was a quick procedure, mainly to identify the perforators to be used in the transplant. (Deep Interior Epigastric Perforators) The main issue would be if they find your perforator veins are not appropriate for the surgery. I think that's pretty rare.

it's a very easy procedure. You lay on your stomach and go through serious of holdingyour breath.
