Radiation tattoos and MRI

I have a screening MRI this week. I read online that tattoos can cause problems by heating up and causing burns. I have the two tiny tattoos from radiation. Should I be worried about this??

I have many tattoos, and I’ve never experienced any issues with MRI

I have tattoos, as well. Shouldn’t be a problem!

I have 3 radiation tattoos, and have had 2 MRIs, never hada problem.

4 rad tattoos no problems with 4+ MRIs. I think it has to do with some tat inks having high metal content but still it would be rare. Lasers on the other hand are a whole other story...OUCH!!!

Ok cool. I have a very active imagination so I was imagining problems.

I have several, two of them larger than a fist and never had problems. I wouldn’t worry 🙂
