Chicken pot pie with lattice puff pastry top crust for Oscar night dinner with Italian parsley embedded in the crust. Probably not as good as the mini pot pies Wolfgang Puck made for the after party, but mine was still pretty good. I used dark meat only, which gave it more depth of flavor. Definitely will make it again. Recipe is on the Pepperidge Farm website.

Lita - I met brother and sister for dinner w Hubby too. I ordered the Bob Evans chicken pot pie, crust was tough. Filled w chicken and almost no veggies which are my thing. Going to turn it into soup guess. But now I see yours and want to make just one more time the chicken pot pie my mom used to make. Top and bottom crust, lots of veggies in the white sauce w pulled chicken. You have inspired me yet again.
-
Lita, that pot pie looks scrumptious. I love 'em; great winter comfort food for me. I'll have to check out the recipe. You are amazing.

Hi Lita,
Thinking about you and hoping you are well enough to enjoy the beginning of Spring.
-
It's been raining and hailing here. We desperately need the rain, however.
I can finally put my bunny collection out after St. Patrick's Day. Bought a new spring wreath for the front door. I love my old white hydrangea wreath, but so many leaves and flowers have fallen over the years, I decided to use my 50% off coupon at Michael's and get another one.
I LOVE spring, and thank God we now are in Daylight Savings Time again. I just hate it when it get dark early.
Happy Spring, everyone!
