My lump has turned into something...
I have a lump in my right breast. Had it since 2015. I've had two ultrasounds on it. First one in 2015 stating it was probably a clogged milk duct. Second was november 2017 stating it was a solid mass but hasn't grown. It has never hurt but has been causing a lot of very weird feelings like tugging, electrical shock feeling all the way to my nipple, itching, and swelling near and around my armpit. The lump has become less mobile and I just noticed that it seems to have attached itself to the surrounding tissue and almost feels as though it's connected itself to a longer more oval "lump" that is not mobile at all. Has anyone ever had this happen or can give me insight if I should push to get a second opinion or a biopsy done? Getting pretty worried as my family carries a lot of different cancers including breast cancer. I am only 27 but I also understand, cancer does not care what age you are.

I’d call your OB/GYN or primary care doc and let them know of the changes. Make sure they know there is family history too. They will likely do ultrasound, probably won’t do mammo due to age but it’s possible. I’d push for mri especially if they can’t see it on u/s and/or mammo. Good luck!

If I am reading your post correctly ultrasound exams have shown 2 years of stability of your finding. At that point we usually stop following things if they haven't changed.
If you have recently noticed a change in your physical exam, a followup ultrasound should be performed to re-measure the original finding and check to make sure that there is nothing new there giving you these new symptoms.
If the old finding has increased in size or if there is something new they may suggest a biopsy which is reasonable at that point.

The first time I got an ultrasound was because I self examined and found it. The second time, two years later, I went to express care due to my other breast being super sore 24/7 and they checked both breasts that day and mentioned my previous lump and asked if I had gotten that one checked out. I told them yes, I'v had it for two years so they sent me for another ultrasound to recheck because it was still there and I had not been seen other than that first time. I had explained to them then that it was starting to give me unusual feelings. Not pain but uncomfortable. Which again, thought it wasn't a big deal because I felt no pain which is why I didn't get it rechecked. They didn't even check the side I originally went in for because of the pain. Now it seems to be getting worse. I feel like if it's still there and causing more issues that perhaps there is something else going on. It had shrunk from the first time being checked, but now it feels like it has attached itself to other tissue or another lump. Very weird to explain. I feel like they are just guessing with me. I mean, does a clogged milk duct turn into a fluid filled cyst, then a solid mass? Because those were the 3 answers I got everytime. I figured if I saw a breast specialist I could get all the answers right then and not have to return again. And possibly a biopsy so I can stop worrying and get a straight answer. Thank you guys for responding!
