Hi, I live in Perth, WA and I'm on a trial at Fiona Stanley Hospital for Palbociclib and Letrozole. Is anyone else involved in this trial? It would be great to get to know each other.

Hi, I live in Sydney and am on the MonarchE trial. Would be good to connect with others who are also on the same trial or previous trials using Abemaciclib.

Hi surfangel, and welcome to Breastcancer.org.

You may find it also helpful to use the Search button to the left (in the blue navigation bar) and type in Monarch E trial. There are some others in the community that have mentioned it, and you can see where they are.

    Hi

Thanks. Yes I found an active forum on here that dedicated to Abemaciclib, but it's on a group for Stage IV cancers. So I cannot participate in the forum but they have been very informative on the side effects etc.

    Hi Surfangel

    Sorry - I didn't see your post.

I'm not aware of any of our Aussie girls that are doing the trial - but if you post on the Aussie Girls thread and introduce yourself, more people might be able to guide you.

Thanks Trish, I will do that. It’s been a bit frustrating engaging on the topic as all the forums for Abemaciclib are for Stage IV cancers given it’s FDA approved in the US for metastatic cancers. So I have been passively reading their experiences.

    Hi,

I started the monarch e clinical trial in January 2019 and I am looking to connect with others on the trial. I am interested in sharing side effects and what has helped manage side effects. I live in Virginia in the USA . I was wondering if you were successful in finding others on the trial? I would love to hear about your experiences with verzenio and suggestions you have.

    Thanks

Hi susieu, and welcome to Breastcancer.org!

We think this thread on To Trial or Not to Trial (Monarch E/Verzenio) will be helpful to get you connected with others on this trial.

We hope this helps and we look forward to hearing more from you soon!
