Hello Ladies..just wanting some input from people that have went thru this. I have a theee generation history of breast cancer stage 4. Just lost my aunt in June due to watch and wait. Well anyway to me I am a mom of two boys, nursed my second for about 6 months. He will be 2 in June. I have had white nipple discharge for a little over a month. Had an ultrasound and a mammogram that didn’t show anything. Primary care doc said to watch it. Had prolactin levels and thyroid levels all normal. I will be 30 in a few weeks. Possibly going to have a slide done of the discharge. Should Ibe worrying snce everything I have had done is normal. Any advice would be appreciat

Hello Momof2boys2018! Hope you get responses and advice from other members soon. It sounds like even if this is nothing serious you are doing all of the right things to asses that nipple discharge. Please update us if you do more tests or when you learn more!

    Best wishes,

    hi Momof2boys2018,

Your situation is similar to mine. Stopped nursing my youngest and around the same time ended up with discharge, after it got more frequent (6 mo period?)I saw my doctor and we did a slide to see if we could figure things out (for me it didn’t tell us a whole lot). My mammogram and ultrasound showed some little spots that I eventually had taken out to test and started my whole experience from there. However things turn out for you I’m glad you’re looking for answers now, it made all the difference for me. If you need to chat at all I’m here :)

thank you guys so much for the responses. I am nervous but hopefully it is just a normal response of my body. I haven’t heard if the slide will be done or not. I’m curious to see if I waste my time with the slide since everything else came back normal! Which I’m tickled but Just left me with more answers.

thank you! I hope your journey gets better for you!! I am super nervous and I’m sure it’s all fine, but with the test being normal I just don’t know whether to let it go or continue testing.
