Waiting on biopsy

hello all, I have my core needle biopsy coming up on Monday, I am a bag of nerves these past 2 weeks. In my US radiology report it says “partial shadowing and possible ductal extension”. Can any of you help me understand what this means? Is this why the mass looked like it had a bunch of “legs” as I described it to my husband? They also told me no matter the results due to a high family history of BC I will start getting yearly mammograms and breast MRI’s, I’m only 31 so ehhhh a bit nerve wracking.

    Hi,

    Just wanted to say that I am also in a similar situation. I will have a stereotactic bx and a sono core bx on Monday. I'm not doing so well, I am really upset and can't believe that this is happening to me.
