I am 60 and 5 yrs since last period. My left breast has always hurt a bit more for years. Recently I started having some itching...felt like on the outside near nipple but also weirdly on the inside. It also hurts more the past couple months. This breast is warm whereas my other feels cool to the touch. I had a mammogram in Oct which was fine so yesterday they did an ultrasound that came back fine. I have no outside visible signs based on what I have read to look for (For ibc). The warmth is what is making me nervous. I asked about an MRI but they said the insurance wouldn't cover it. I'm pretty worried about the recent pain, itching and warmth even though I've had these two tests. Any advice welcome!

You know how they say women's symptoms are all over the roadmap when it comes to heart? Have you been evaluated for any heart disease? Do you notice your symptoms more during physical stress, or during your couch potato moments? (I would be more concerned during couch potato moments when inertia/blockage may overcome slowed down pumping action.) I have no training in this, just a shot in the dark.

I thought of that but I believe all is well there. I will try to pay more attention as to when etc. Going to a breast clinic who can hopefully rule out ibc. Trying to stay ahead of anyboutward signs. Thanks for the thoughts!
