Will my eye lashes and eye brows come back?
I expected the hair loss, and I know this isn’t a big deal, but I really miss my lashes and brows, which have suddenly thinned dramatically during month three of chemo.

I don't know what chemo you've received, but it's very likely that your eyelashes and eyebrows will return. My eyebrows started falling out towards the end of chemo and grew back pretty much simultaneously, so they just looked thin. The eyelashes fell out later and took much longer to grow back.
My understanding is that the lash and brow hairs grow much more slowly than other hairs on your body and that it takes a while for both the response to chemo and the recovery.

thank you. I’ve ha AC and now taxo

My eyebrows and eyelashes grew back near the end of Taxol. Slower than the hair on my head though.

Star2017, I had AC-T also. I lost all hair with The Adriamycin. It started growing back 6 weeks into taxol. Hopefully yours will be quick to return too. In the mean time eyeliner and a good brow pencil can work wonders! If you have a Look Good, Feel Good class at a local hospital or cancer center they are beneficial. They will show you different techniques to help and I liked being with other women going through the same issues for a couple hours. Ours also offered free wigs

look good feel good program. Is wonderful i recommend it very much. The make up Is beautiful, I was given at least $600 worth ofbeautiful make up that was donated by wonderful Companies , the program is really something everyone should do for themselves. It is totally about you and they make you feel so comfortable and they show you what to do with the make up and brushes. I highly recommend this program. It's wonderfully done!! Very generous and special people. ~M~ I had some heavy chemo myself and my hair grew back, but I have to admit, my eye brows are very thin, it's been over a year and a half since heavy chemo. I never lost my eye lashes though, they held strong. They do take a very long time. The root needs a very long time to restore the hair follicle! I wish you luck and hope yours grow back like now!!! Hugs ~M~

I saw there's a Look Good Feel Good program nearby. I'll try to attend soon. Thanks for the suggestion and thank you for sharing your experiences.
