Spots on liver
This has been a very long 8 weeks....
Suppose to start chemo next week.
Ct scan came back with liver spots so i have gone from “its going to be a rough year" to “not sure ill be here in a year"
Mri is suppose to take place sometime in the next 10 days. Im in complete panic, i have been so calm during this whole process until the nurse called me to tell me that today.
I'm really struggling to stay positive.

Spots on the liver can be a lot of things besides cancer. The biggest ones are cysts and hermangiomas.....both benign. I think I had over 19 cysts on mine. Scared the daylights out of me and could have stopped my surgery but the benign results came in fast enough so we could continue with surgery. Hang in there. (((HUGS))))

billster that is so tough getting a phone call like that...terrifying..but try to stay calm (not easy) because you don't know for sure yet..while you are awaiting more test results speak to your doctor about something that will help to keep you calm and sleep..
The ladies here are HERE for you..sorry my diagnosis not showing below i am having trouble getting it posted as i am so technically challenged..but I just needed to let you know we are here and we care. Keep holding on to hope xx

CT showed same for me. MRI says 1 is a fatty spot (Size of a pencil eraser) and the other is hemangioma. Spots don’t always mean cancer/mets.
-
I had an MRI on Monday 2/26 that showed a spot on my liver also, the impression read: could represent a cyst or hemangioma and recommended a follow up with ultrasound...had my total abdominal ultrasound on 3/1 and they couldn’t find the cyst/hemangioma.
It’s so stressful when these “incidental findings” show up in an already stressful time!
Good luck to you, I hope yours also turns out to be nothing.

the very same thing happened to me during staging, the spos turned out to be fatty liver. Hang in, every test you do is thankfully scrutinized to the max. Very scary yes, but very necessary. Deep breaths you’re going to be fine, the power of positive thinking is amazing! I’m so sorry for your struggles....post often it helps. We’re all here for you
