Just got MRI completed... now is the waiting again
I just left the hospital after getting an MRI and waiting for my MRI results. I noticed a lot of woman on this forum hadtheir results discussed right after. Since I didn’t is this a good sign? They said they would send the results to my Dr.

I didn't get the results of any of my MRIs right after. The only immediate results I ever got were diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound.
-
thanks Melissa. They did discuss my ultra sound and diagnostic mammo right away. Maybe the MRIneeds to be read.
-
I didn’t get my MRI results for 2-3 days. I did get the results from my diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound right away, though
-
thanks moms. I guess I’ll have to sit tight and Be patient.

I think it depends on the place. I got a call from my Dr an hour after I got home from my MRI. She told me she was sending me for a biopsy because of a new finding.
Biopsy showed PASH. Totally benign.
Don't read anything into turn around time.

thanks Marie,
How did you guys pass the time??? The nurses were so nice and but kind I keep replaying in my head everything they say trying to look for clues. Ugh... talk about annoying yourself.

Hi Love 27. Yep, the waiting is the worst. I kept busy with my regular routine, adding in extra exercise (classes and walks) along with small indulgences like manicures and shoe shopping. Anything to stay off of the Internet!
Wishing you good news soon.

ha! The evil google. Definitely not a girls best friend. I’ve been on it non stop.
Today I went grocery shopping I ate at Burger King ( went in and sat down lol) I tried on my wedding dress. I’m getting married in 2 weeks! And now I’m gonna watch a good movie while i fold laundry and maybe watch another one after that! . I am gonna make a commitment to stay off google until I get my results back back. It feels like I am waiting for someone to tell me my fate.
-
I hope you will get positive results very soon so that you can fully concentrate on your wedding without the added stress. Congrats on the wedding BTW!!!
-
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I’m glad you’ve found some things to distract you while you wait for the results
-
thank you for your encouragement ladies. I woke up tonight worrying and can’t seem to get myself to go back to sleep. Thinking about getting a call telling me I need to come in to speak with the dr. Of course imagining the worse.
- Mom did you get your biopsy results back yet
-
I had the same problems at night. My 3 a.m. brain was way more crazy than my normal brain!
I haven’t heard anything back yet regarding my biopsy. I was told 2-3 working days, so I figured it would be tomorrow at the earliest. My doctor was confident before the procedure that they won’t find anything lurking in the scar, so I’m hoping it’s all benign
-
I hope so! I'll be looking for your post with good news tomorrow!!
