I checked online and my pathology results were posted.

Benign breast tissue with fibrocystic changes including papillomatosis, duct ectasia, apocrine metaplasia, and usual ductal hyperplasia.

No evidence of atypical ductal hyperplasia, DCIS or malignancy.

Yay! Benign is fabulous news. Waiting for the dr to call and explain everything 😋

Sooo relieved.

I just had a full duct excision on 3/14 and waiting for pathology...This has been a rollercoaster of procedures, waiting for results, procedure, waiting for results...but this is the big one. Everything hinges on these results. I never knew I had super dense “busy” breasts before January! I’ve had I don’t know how many mammograms, a ductogram that ended with a titanium clip being put next to the most concerning area, two MRIs w/contrasts...the wire guide insertion and then the full duct excision. This waiting is the hardest...they said 5-7 business days...otherwise known as FOREVEr!! These boards have been a life saver! I am sending good thoughts f
