Taxotere and permanent hair loss????

Did you end up doing PRP? I have 8 more days on Arimidex and I have major androgen hair loss. I have consulted with a female hair loss physician, and am seriously considering PRP. My medical doctor says PRP it's subcutaneous, so it's safe, but of course, it's a gamble if it will work or not. Honestly, for $1200, I am willing to try it. My MD says to wait at least 6 months after Arimidex to do it, just to be sure my hairloss is not related to treatment. I can wait 6 months. I tried Minoxidil for 5 years, no results and I don't want to be dependent on that for the rest of my life. My hairloss doctor gave me a prescription for a liquid to add to my shampoo to stimulate growth before the PRP.

I had TCH in 2006... and even now 10 years later, most of my hair is gone. It grew back very slowly and thinly, and I have easy to see bald spots. My onc was surprised, but now I'm hear that this is a possible side effect (sigh). So it can happen

Hello,
I completed my last round of Taxotere in 2012. During treatment, my hair fell out but did not regrow. After doing some research, I decided to have Platelet Rich Plasma Injections. I had the first treatment in December 2016, and my most recent treatment was April 2017. My hair has started growing. It is very thin, but my entire head is covered in hair.

Here is what I saw today

I had TCPH that ended March 23. I just saw a lady who is 1 month ahead of me and she has more than twice as much hair as me. Mine is not going to grow that much in one month. I got taxotere and am still getting Herceptin. She did not have the taxotere and did not need Herceptin. I am thinking that is the difference. My hair grew fast before chemo.

One of my best friends also suffered from breast cancer. The doctor gave her taxotere drug while chemotherapy treatment. Because of that drug she lost her hairs. Hair loss is a traumatic experience for her and her family.
Hair loss is a normal side effect of chemotherapy, but permanent hair loss is not normal at all. Then my friend consulted a Taxotere Hair Loss Lawyer, and he helped her very much and he did not charge any attorney fee unless she got the compensation because of the Taxotere drug treatment.
You can also consult expert legal representatives if you or your loved ones suffer from the same. Taxotere hair loss lawsuit can help individuals to recover the compensation they deserve.
Taxotere hair loss lawyers are able to provide expert legal counsel and support families through a difficult time. You can also get help by consulting Attorneys for Taxotere Hair Loss Lawsuits.

I am nearly 6 week’s post PRP. My last taxotare was November 2016.
What were the results of your PRP?
