Breast asymmetry

I just turned 19, and have had this worry with my breasts. The left one is a decent size bigger than the other, I've had this issue for awhile actually; but it does worry me. I also get some slight pain in that one mostly at times, not a lot though usually when near menstrual cycles or during. I've checked and have felt no lumps at all. The left one also has a bit darker veins; maybe because it's bigger? I'm not sure, I get so nervous to think about it and work myself up. Thought maybe I'd reach out for some advice? Asymmetric breasts (left one is bigger) with occasional pain (mostly during periods or before periods), and some darker veins. I'm so scared. Doctors scare me too and testing....

Different sized breasts, even considerable differences, and hormonal aches are usually normal, but you should still get checked out, mainly just so your doctor can teach you what is normal for you and how to do regular breast self exams. Scaring yourself is more scary than the doctor, and you don't know that you need any tests. More than likely everything is perfectly normal for you, but don't just sit around and worry about it. Get checked to reassure yourself

Everything you describe is normal. Most women's breasts do not match exactly, and sometimes there is a great difference in the size and shape. The pain before and during periods is probably caused by hormonal changes during your cycle. At your age it is virtually unheard of to have any type of breast cancer.
