Ultra sound in the morning... worried

I went to my Gp for a women’s wellness check up Friday February 16th. She confirmed a lump I had recently found and said she would send me for a mammogram. I didn’t hear back that same da but called Monday and was told my appointment was set for the 21st. Here I sit terrified but have been reading through these boards and finding encouragement.

I’m 30 years old with no children. The lump is in my right breast at about 2 o’clock, it is about 1 inch and is movable. Im hoping for the best results and that no further testing will be needed.

Would love to hear from anyone who is going through something similar or has gone through this.

    Katylo, hello and welcome.

    Good for you in getting this checked. Many things can happen to our breasts, and that includes different kind of benign lumps. It's a highly probable that is what you are dealing with, but you don't know until it's checked out.

    So, no need to panic, even when you are being prudent.

    :) Good luck tomorrow and request a copy of the radiology report be sent to you. That is always a good thing to have.

    Going through something similar at the moment. I head in for my ultrasound and mammogram in the morning. Thinking of you and sending good positive vibes your way!

    Did you have labs done as well? CBC etc. ?
