Hi..I posted on here before regarding having this procedure. Hope it is spelled right. I had it done in December to remove cysts on my right ovary. Apparently, i had one cyst on right ovary and one on my right tube. Those came back negative on the pathology. Left ovary and tube unremarkable. Good news on that too. Here is the clincher... my appendix was abnormal looking..so they removed it too. Pathology report came back with cancer cels on that. Low grade and contained with inside the appendix only. So now I've been referred for a colonoscopy next week.. and to check for polyps and biopsy any.

I don't know what to think, I'm numb. I sat and heard my GP repeat the "cancer" word again..as he did almost 2 years ago, when it was Breast Cancer. Everything feels surreal. I'm too tired to process this. I just finished almost 2 years of BC treatment.

Has anyone had appendix cancer before? My abdomen feels and looks bloated. I seemed to gain alot of weight there since this all started 2 years ago. Could the ovary and tube removal be causing this after 2 months. My mind is just wondering all over. My GP said its good its low grade and it was contained within...the appendix cancer.

I mentioned I should have a Pet Scan to check my whole body.

Any comments I would appreciate.

Ok...so I am now being told by the gynecologist..and pathology report..it's not cancer...it's in between being cancer and not being cancer. I think it's called LAMN. An oncologist surgeon is going to do the colonoscopy next Friday. I think its extremely uncommon breast mestasis would hit the Appendix. I was told it is not secondary Breast Cancer. Mine was Stage 1 with no lymph node involvement. But it makes me afraid if this was there and it was only caught by accident...what else may be lurking. This is extremely rare. I am also going to have CT Scan..and I guess see where the oncologist wants to take this. I hope it's not a harsh treatment.
