We know how you feel Rosemary but at least the process is moving forward. That’s good you are getting counseling. It’s a scary DX but one that can be treated. The outlook is promising.

Radiation was relatively easy for me. No real burning and just a bit of fatigue halfway through. It’s better than chemo.

From start to finish I seemed to go through the motions and didn’t allow myself time to really focus on what was happening until my treatment was completed. It was like a wake up call. It’s probably just as well since I’m a worrier.

I am 6 years out last August so there is hope and reason to be optimistic.

Hi rosemary and I completely understand how you feel. It is so terrifying, and then so boring, that it does feel like a dream, doesn't it? You might want to search for the discussion board for women having radiation in February, and go say hello there. During my radiation it was so helpful to have a posse going through it with me.

I know it doesn't feel like it now, but soon this will be over and you will start to feel like yourself again.
