Not diagnosed but panicked
I am 63 and had a fairly large lump pop up a few weeks ago overnight. It is in the area where I had a papilloma removed 6-7 years ago. I thought perhaps it was another papilloma or scar tissue but now my nipple tingles and I just developed flakiness around my nipple. I have no insurance to trying to get financial aid to get diagnosed but not an easy process. Has anyone else had papillomas removed and then this happen? Thank you

Others might offer their experiences but most will say that when faced with a change in one's breast health it is best to have medical advice. We hear your dilemma about lack of insurance. Sorry you are dealing with this. Can you call a local Cancer Center and/or non profit like Komen and see if they'll fund a mammogram for you? Around here, they do that for uninsured women.
