    Dear Tracey3,

We are sorry that you are dealing with such worry and we are glad that you reached out to our members. Our members will probably suggest that you contact your physician. Actually any change or symptom in your breast health is worth reporting regardless of your previous history with breast cancer but even more so when you have a previous diagnosis. On the other hand, a rash could be many things besides IBC. Many here will say that while you need to have it looked at it is best to not jump to such a conclusion. We hope others will chime in with their experiences as well. Keep us posted on what you learn and use this community for support as you can. The Mods

I know the rash with inflammatory breast cancer comes, stays, and spreads. It never comes and goes. Can you get to a dermatologist?

Hoping your breast cancer stays away for good this time. You have been through a lot

hi thanks for the response. I also read that it stays, I feel I may have panicked. It has gone again, just a few traces. I think it maybe the constant changes from radiation. I have an appointment this week with oncologist.

oh my gosh Kbeee, on a personal note it looks as though we have had similar experiences. I hope that your cancer stays away for you as well. Again thank you so much for reaching out to me. I have also felt a small bump on my lymph node on neck, so I just panicked, for the first time. I am sure there are reasonable explanations for everything

Tracey - I had a rash show up like overnight on my cancer breast and I was convinced it was IBC. I read everything I could on the internet and looked at a lot of pictures of IBC and decided yep that’s what it was. My DH said it looked more like a bruise but I didn’t remember running into anything that would cause that big of a bruise. You would think I would have remembered. He suggested I go to the cancer clinic where I get my treatments but I wanted to just wait and see if the bruise faded. It did.
