Tamoxifen and outer upper leg pain!

I started hesitantly back on Tamoxifen 9 days ago after my Onc said it was this or monthly shots and a different drug. The last two days my upper leg is sore like I've pulled it and I can barely walk. I'm really struggling with this. Any thoughts

    I’ve had some joint pain and many severe Charlie horses in odd places, like upper leg and the arch of my foot. My MO suggested adding glucosamine condroiten, so far it’s helped a lot. I found the SE’s from tamoxifen significantly reduced or completely stopped within a couple months of starting the meds. As with anything new though, I would discuss it with your doc. I hope you get some relief :)

    Thank you!! I was on Tamoxifen before but went off it because of the SE. I'm giving it another try but the pain is making me limp. I haven't pulled it and even a warm bath doesn't help. I'm off of work for a bit so it's a better time to cope with trying this again...but it's certainly not fun.
