Staten Island: anybody use SIUH for treatments?

Hi,

I live in Staten Island, NY and am weighing whether to have my radiation treatments at SIUH or whether to go into the city.

Anybody here use SIUH for their radiation treatments?

Anybody here from Staten Island who went into the city for their treatments instead?

    If you by chance see my post can you please let me know if you stayed with SIUH ?

    Hello idkidk. I'm also on Staten Island and will have surgery at NYU Langone soon. I just met with my surgeon at the NYU Perlmutter Center today, and she told me that several of her patients have had radiation treatments on Staten Island. She has been happy with three facilities: Regional Radiology, SIUH and Richmond University Hospital. She seemed to encourage me to use one of them rather than trek into Manhattan. I'm not sure yet where I will go, but Regional Radiology is near me and is where I had my biopsy, so I may do that.

    Hello idkidk,

    I'm sorry I did not see your post until just now. I ended up going into the city EVERY SINGLE DAY for my radiation treatments all the way from Staten Island. That was in 2009.
