Hi, are you triple negative? Why are you being recommended chemo? Not a simple choice to dive into.
I am assuming as stage 1, probably no positive nodes they are recommending chemo for killing any possible stray cells. If you are hormone positive you should have an oncodx test to see how effective chemo may be.

Hi Carmelita, and welcome to Breastcancer.org,
We're so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, but we're really glad you found us! If you could tell us a little more about your diagnosis, our members should be able to weigh in with their advice and experiences.
Many of our members are fearful of getting chemo, so you're sure to get some great responses here that will help you feel better about the treatment decisions you're facing. For some more information, you can check out the main Breastcancer.org site's pages on Chemotherapy to understand what you can expect, common side effects, and questions you can ask your doctor about your treatment.
We hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing more from you soon!

why are are they giving you chemo if your cancer has hormone receptors? I would ask them that before diving in.
You should never make decisions in a panic, find out why the treatment is being recommended and what the pros and cons are. I know it is hard, I was in a panic too. But these decisions are crucial.

i dont know why she said to prevent it from coming back, and i dont know id is Aprove by the Tumor Board
i need to send her a message, every test they done to get me in chemo it been Normal, my health is good include my blood pressure
everything. good.

Ask about how hormone therapy will prevent recurrence and how chemo will improve your odds. If chemo increases your odds significantly then it may be worth taking.
