Small cancer but 2/5 positive lymph nodes

hey everybody had surgery on tues. 1/30/18, even though my lump was extremely small I still had 2/5 ER PR positive lymph nodes this doesn't seem very good to me why there would already be lymph node involvement from a tiny little thing. Does this mean my cancer is meaner and stronger than the average ? This does concern me. Has anybody had this? Haven't seen an oncologists yet but surgeon said I William em having radiation for sure. Can I expect to have chemo or take the oral meds ? Thank u everybody for responding last post this really helps

    I would think with 2/5 lymph nodes positive, that your physician will highly recommend chemo.

    Hi mbryant, sorry you’re here. You should have a lot more info once you get your final pathology report. I have heard it said that you can have a very large tumor that is lazy, or you could have a very active tumor/ cells that migrate quickly, or anything in between. Sounds like yours was small but busy.

    Chemo depends on a lot of things, but anti hormone treatment is pretty much a given for all of us unless we opt out.
