Good morning, Lita! Glad you have a plan, just sorry for the diarrhea! I hope Gemzar kicks cancers sorry butt down the road! Those meatballs had me salivating. Sofia looked nice and comfy on the couch!
I saw the cutest sign yesterday. It said " dogs have owners, cats have staff" , while I thought it was cute, I realized they had never met Sofia or Skittles. I know Skittles has staff, and I'm pretty sure Sofia does too!
Have a great day! Sending you gentle hugs and prayers!

Lita you always give so much strength to everyone around you. Your motto, make lemonades. I learned from you. How wonderful there is such a thing as depends nowadays. Someone i know had rads 30yrs ago to the prostate, he's an elderly man now, and he lost control of the anus area, they say due to the rads years ago.
What are they doing for the brain mets? Any radiation there? Thank you for the wonderful go to recipe. And sharing these wonderful moments of Sophia, it puts a smile on everyone's face.
Cheers for the new treatment!! Praying for you.
-
Lita I’m keeping you close in my heart and hoping you won’t need those depends soon. Have a wonderful day
-
Lita, I enjoyed your meatballs and snuggling Sofie all the way to here!
Hoping the new treatment is gentle on you and tough on Mr. Cancer.
Here's S'more snuggling as well.

Lita - Best of luck with gemzar. I had a couple of super low doses and it wasn't too bad. Thinking of you.

Lita-Hope the SEs are minimal! The commercials make it appear that one can be quite athletic in Depends... They need one of lovely women who feel good enough tomake meatballs! Feeling normal is so wonderful. Sending hugs.
-
Praying for you Lita as you start gemzar. May it kick your cancer's butt while being kind to you.

Stopping by to say hi Lita!
-
Lita, I hope that Gemzar does the trick for you. I was on it for 10 months and found the side effects to be very manageable. I was able to still work while on Gemzar. Mainly some fatigue and minor constipation. Everyone responds differently and I hope you do GREAT on it. I sometimes wish I could still be on Gemzar... Thinking of you and loving the doggie pictures you post! (Loving everyone's doggie pics!)

Lita- thinking of you today. Hope the force is strong right now. MJH

Actually accomplished something today. The old pillow cover was all threadbare. I had some scrap material left over and got a red zipper and made this new little pilow cover. Amazing since I can hardly see to thread a needle any more. Little pillow now matches the two others I have on the couch. Sofia likes to snuggle and nest on the pillows.
Groovywilma, so far, having a lot of abdominal/intestinal cramping on Gemzar and alternating bouts of constipation and diarrhea, but nothing I can't manage.
-
I made a tote bag out of that material!
-
Cool! It's lovely material. I made a table runner out of it too some years ago.
-
Lita - You look beautiful. Even your nails are perfectly manicured. And of course there's that smile! So good to see you. Hope you are feeling well kicking Mr. Cancer in the nuts!
-
looking younger Lita,, ur glowing, not from rads, lol, it's the inner beautiful you shinning thru.
-
Lita-lovely to see you. Love that fabric. You go, girl!

Lita, you really do look beautiful. Flawless skin. Gorgeous fabric. Now Sophia has a new perch. I love the picture of her when she woke to smell meatballs
-
Beautiful fabric Lita! Finishing a project always feels good
Hoping the meds do much more than give you SEs. Sending hugs to you
-
You look cute in your perky head scarf! And still crafting! Creation is good for the soul. Creating meatballs, creating pillows, it's all good. Thinking of you always.
-
Looking good Lita the pillow is adorable and the kerchief is a great look and probably very comfy.
-
Very pretty pillow, made by a very lovely lady, Lita.
Smiling when I read, "but nothing I can't manage."
You go girl!
Sending admiration, love, hugs, and prayers.

Lovely picture, Lita. Wonderful pillow. But the best part is your beautiful smile. I was feeling a little down today and then I saw your post. Creating something beautiful is what I need to do to lift my spirits. Thank you Lita
