Hard boney lump on top of big toe...??

Options

Today I noticed a hard lump on top of my big toe. I took my shoe off and noticed a red mark on my foot and bent down and the red mark was caused by this bump rubbing against my shoe. It's hard, doesn't move at all and does not hurt at all. It's located on top of big toe almost where it meets my foot and is a good size where when I felt it I kind of gasped. Of course my mind races to bone mets. I had a full bone scan end of June and all was good. Most recently started anastrozole in Sept and have usual joint pain side effects. Just got first prolia shot a couple of days ago. Had chest X-ray end of Dec and just had abdominal CT last week and what bones they could see were all clear. All of these are nowhere near my foot or toe but I seem good everywhere else so am wondering if this could be a bone met to my toe?? I jdid some research and have read it's rare to have mets to foot but I'm kind of paranoid I guess. Has anyone had mets to foot or toe? This big bump does not hurt at all and just feels like a hard raised boney mass. It's definitely not a cyst. After my chest X-ray and abdominal CT I felt like I could breathe a little bit and just look forward to my exchange surgery in 10 days and now I'm a mess. I kind of ruined my day and my husbands too by worrying all day. Thanks for any info.

I have never heard of bone mets to toe; guessing it is exceedingly, exceedingly rare. It is most likely a corn, bone spur, or something of that sort. I would go to your primary care doc and see if you could get an X-ray to figure it out. Hoping you get answers to ease your mind
