Endometrial hyperplasia with tamoxifen

So, I have been on Tamoxifen for one year. I had an MRI due to back pain which my oncologist ordered. They saw a cyst on my ovary so my onco sent me for a pelvic ultrasound. The cyst resolved but my onco told me the ultrasound showed I have endometrial hyperplasia but no uterine polyps, just the thickening. I have not had a period since right after my first chemo treatment June, 2016. He didn't seem very concerned. He told me to go off the tamoxifen for one month to see if I have a period. If I don't, I guess I have to go back and if I do, I still have to go back. He didn't tell me whether to go back to the oncologist (he's retiring) or my OB/GYN.
I am worried about stopping the tamox because I had such an aggressive and large cancer. Any suggestions?

You should be fine many of us take several month breaks from treatment. I am glad they are concerned you don't want uterine cancer.
