Breast skin won’t heal

I’ve had inflammation on my breast for over a month now. A course of antibiotics helped as I’ve stated here before, but women’s doctor said I needed to continue topical antibiotic for 2 to 3 weeks. He wanted it to heal completely. If it did not go away after that time, I’m to make appointment.

It hasn’t gone away, but it has not gotten visibly worse. Sort of just one spot of purple/reddish tissue hanging around, it looks like. More sensitive than other breast.

A few years ago, I had problems with flakiness and rough brown patches near my areola in that breast.

I’m not sure what to expect when I see women’s doctor again.

Any thoughts on what this breast condition could be, considering it’s been over a month now and it still hasn’t healed? Thank you I’m advance.

When you go back (to a gynecologist?), if it isn't healed (you said it was resolving in your other thread) ask for a referral to a dermatologist if you aren't satisfied.
