Cording/webbing after BM, coming back during rads?

Hi, 7 more treatments to go, can not wait! My question is about cording. I had it after surgery for a couple months, was gone when rads started. The treatments seem to aggravate my arm, RO thinks it's the soft tissues being stretched when laying on the table. Recently I noticed that it feels almost like cording is back. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? I see my RO tomorrow so will see what he says.

Yes, this happened to me. I developed cording very quickly after surgery, but this didn't bother me long. My cording either came back or became symptomatic again - I don't know whether they were actually gone/snapped during the time they didn't bother me, or if they had just stretched out. Either way, I ended up with some thick ones during radiation.

I haven't ever seen any good research about cording, which is frustrating. I wouldn't have been willing to believe it was anything except the radiation, since my arm wasn't stretched on the table any more than I routinely stretched it before radiation started.

I thought it was the radiation itself that would aggravate cording. Stretching got rid of my cording. It started during chemo and went away during radiation. I stretched before and after radiation treatments and stretched more at home.

Cording was relieved by my PT who specializes in BC patients. Do you have someone locally you can see? She showed me some self massage and within a few days I felt the cords actually release. Are you very burnt from rads? That could limit how much massage you'd want. Good luck to you!
