Intensifying Chemo May Improve Early-Stage Outcomes

Disappointed that the sixth dose for me of tchp was held on January 8 because my body couldn't handle anymore and my oncology used the word toxic. Would like to be given the option of the sixth treatment at some future point but the thinking is that we should move forward without delay to the surgery. Supposed to be a lumpectomy. Ultrasound done January 11 showed little decrease from ultrasound done in October as compared with ultrasound done yesterday. When diagnosed the breast tumor was 4.4 cm. In October it was 2.3 x 1.0x 2.8 after 2 tchp. Now after five tchp measurements are 2.4 x 0.7 x 2.2. radiologist indicated a mild reduction. I have a spread to lymph nodes but the script for ultrasound did not request an ultrasound of nodes. Only the measurements of breast tumor was requested. I'd appreciate feedback regarding this ultrasound. Does the s mean minimal pathologic response? Does this mean I cannot have a lumpectomy but will need a umx? Thanks so much to all for the support
