tissue expander fill..feeling/looking weird

So, I'm wondering if my PS overfilled my expander by a little bit.

My breast actually looked better right after surgery than it does now.

Does it take a while for the saline to "settle"? It looks to me like it's all going to the edge of my boob next to my arm and there is some wrinkling on the left side of the breast.

Do I need to massage it or something, to get it to distribute efficiently?

Nobody gave me any guidance on these things.

I just want to get my dang implant :p

In my experience expanders can take on funky shapes as they are being filled. One of mine ended up looking quite squarish!?! And that one also migrated a bit farther to the edge under my arm. The good news is that the expander shape had no bearing on how my foobs look with the actual implant. And the expander that went too far on the side was an easy fix during the surgery to place the implant (PS just tightened up the pocket for the implant on that side a bit). I resorted to my sometimes crass sense of humor in dealing with misshapen expanders and had a number of good laughs with my husband over their ridiculousness :)

They are pretty ridiculous. Esp with how rock hard they are. Ugh!

I think -- and I could be off -- but the TE is creating the pocket. Period.

BTW, Mine were NOT in the right place, either. LOL

There was an assload of space between them, for one. The PS was not happy about that but said we'd fix during Exchange (which she did). And they were hanging in my armpit, and I had small boobs before, so had never had anything in my armpit. I like the implants and actually think they maybe look better than my originals. ;)
