hi there, I'm new to this. I am meeting with my dream team tomorrow for next steps. Good news would be that my lymphnode that is the size of a golf ball is doing its job by just keeping it put! For now.

Not sure what to expect!

    This is the hardest part. Once you have a full picture and a plan you'll feel better. The women on this site are so helpful and supportive, ask them anything. Best of luck to you.

    thankyou so much everyone. I've been reading these entries for days now. You are all so inspiring. I have great hope!!

    You WILL be strong, I promise. I mean, what choice do we have?  As a mother myself, I know that I can't let my guard down for a moment. My family is counting on me to hold it together (at least, in their presence--they don't see what happens in the shower.)

    I second OCDAmy--this is the worst part (IMO.) No matter what the end result, I think it's always better to know than NOT know. I can fight the monster I know. And you can too! Best of luck to you. I hope your Dream Team is amazing and that your results are better than you hoped.

    Emma:

    As others have stated, you are in the worst part of this journey. Once you have more information, knowledge/insight and a plan in place, please believe me when I say that the anxiety does lessen. Ask any and all questions here. Someone will have advice or an experience to share.

    Lots of moms here (like me). We get it. Just know you have support.

    {hugs}

    Emma,

    Ok so now you know a bit more. There is a forum for TripNeg., and also you will find Jan2018 Chemo gals in the "treatment section" where the ladies who are starting chemo, going thru chemo, gather to cheer each other on, etc.

    As you get more information, you will find forums and threads that will correspond to what you are dealing with and find others in a similar situation as you.

    KEEP BREATHING!

    Hi there,

    Yes the bad news keeps coming. My last shrewd of hope is that I will not have to fight metastasized TNBC. That will be my silver lining after the PETscan Sunday. I feel Sunday is a long time to wait.

    Either way, I will enjoy my days as best I can! ;D

    Power to us all! Thank you for the support!

    Hi Emma,

    I was just diagnosised too. Try to keep your head up and think postive as much as you can. The waiting is really hard. Not knowing what is coming and knowing the cancer is in you still is scary. I’ll be thinking of you and praying for you in this difficult time. We will get through this one step at a time.
