    It may be suggestive of DCIS, but that is unproven until biopsy.

    Brittgirl, what you've posted is an excerpt from your imaging report and so they are not really "results". The radiologist cannot diagnose you based on images, that takes actual tissue samples being submitted to pathology. He is suggesting that this "may" be dcis, which is always stage 0. What was your BIRADS score? That will give you a better understanding of what they believe the probability is. Glad you have your biopsy scheduled soon.

    Thank you both for responding! My doctor did say at a minimum I will have to have a lumpectomy to remove these spots! Hopefully they will bothe be b9 and I can just move forward from there!!!

    I had the MRI guided biopsy yesterday and am now waiting for the results! Stressful to say the least! Biopsy was weird but I’ve been through much worse! The suction sound was them taking tissue samples and it was weird also! I had two spots biopsied and neither of these spots were seen on Us or mammo.

    Bleeding was BAD! And now I’m bruised pretty bad as well! But it’s sometbing i had to do to find out results!!!

    Worry and wait is what I do now!

    I just found this discussion thread by googling: age 42, normal mammogram, bloody nipple discharge. It is so comforting to find I’m not alone. Did you end up with a confirmation of DCIS? I am in the early waiting period and it is terrible as you know to wait and not know. I have a feeling I will be referred to a breast specialist. I’m I. alaska and we just don’t have many options. Where do you start looking? Thanks for sharing your journey. I hope it turns/turned out good
