Please pray for BC sister near the end
She was a couple of months ahead of me in DX and treatment, and we were companions on this journey. Her name is Susan and she is in critical care, with cancerous fluid building up between her lungs and ribs. Her heart is racing (160-220 beats per minute) uncontrollably and her doctors say her time is near.
Thanks so much. When I met people as I went through treatment, I didn't think about how they would fall along the way . . . . . this is the third in three years for me.
Hope M.

Our dear Father, we ask humbly for your closeness to Susan. As she prepares to return to you, allow her to feel your loving arms and the peace that only You can give. We pray for her family and the legacy she leaves behind. Lord, we pray for relief of pain for Susan. And Lord, please also be with Hope. Grant her the knowledge that you are in control and that you are with her. We get frightened sometimes Lord. We love you, and we are glad we can be with you at the end of a long journey. But Father, we are human and we want to live here! Help us all learn to trust in your love for us. Once again, God, please take away any fear and pain from Susan. Welcome her into your kingdom in peace and mercy. It is in the name of your precious Son I pray... Amen

Thank you for your prayers, everyone. Susan passed on this past Sunday. Her experience with breast cancer was a real testimony to her faith and she shared her thoughts via internet. Her witness will continue in cyberspace.
Her passing was relatively quick and painless. Her husband was able to donate her corneas, which was a pleasant surprise to the family.
thank you again,

Thank you all. Lorenzo, that story is so touching.
My mother in law is also nearing the end. She has metastatic lung and kidney cancer and has begun running a fever. We are wondering if it means that the end is finally coming, or if she will pull out of this.
Prayers for God to be merciful to her are appreciated.
