Hi All.

I am new to this forum. I was hoping If you lovely ladies could advise me.

Bit of back ground. I have breast implants above the muscle. I have loads (Around 6-8) Lumps in my right breast. Radiologist said they are Fibroadenoma. Only biopsied one lump as Radiologist said they all look the same and he didn't want to scar me or rupture the breast implants. I had 7 excisions of the lump as the first biopsy results came back inconclusive. So I went back again and had for more incisions of the lump. Fortunately the results came back Fibroadenoma. I am 26yo!

Anyway Biopsy was done 4 months ago! I am getting very sensitive pain in that breast also I can feel a lot of thickening. I assume it's scar tissue.

I was wondering if this is normal. The pain can range from sensitive to shooting.

All my love F x

    Dear fahri91,

Welcome to the community and we are glad that you reached out. We notice that you haven't gotten any responses yet. You might want to visit our main site for information about what to expect after surgery. You also might want to check in with the surgeon for reassurance and some possible solutions to your discomfort. Let us know if there is anything we can do to be of help. The Mods

Hi Fahri. It's possible that the biopsy created the same kind of temporary nerve damage that a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy causes. Perhaps try the daily stretching exercises recommended for after lumpectomy or masectomy (you can google them) for a few weeks then go back to your plastic surgeon for a checkup. Hoping others will chime in with advice...

What kind of biopsy was it? Was a clip (metal chip) inserted? Where is the lump located? These can all impact the pain? I would be calling the clinic to ask. I have some sensitivity six weeks after my biopsy because it is near the chest wall. I was swollen armpit to nipple. I wouldn’t worry, but it can’t hurt to call the clinic who did the biopsy.
