Double Masectomy for Breast cancer prevention

I am in the 90% risk category with BC and ovarian cancer in the maternal side of my family.
Years of ultrasounds, MRIs, biopsies, and mammograms for suspicious lumps and calcifications from cystic breast disease
I'm talked to my breast surgeon and he agreed I am a good candidate.
Has anyone on this site had this surgery?
I would like to connect with a patient or expert about this.

I'm also in the high risk group BRAC2 now with small invasive lobular cancer, but sorry I can't answer your question. I'm also interested in what's involved in a double masectomy.
