Tamoxifen- what time of day do you take it?

Just wondering, those of you taking Tamoxifen, do you find it works to take it at a particular time of day, or with/without food?

I tend to get nausea, so thinking about ways to minimize that if possible...

I take it with dinner. No nausea.

I take it with breakfast. If I don't eat with it, it nauseates me.

Split dose, 8pm, 11 or 12 midnight.

I take it at bedtime with water only. Never caused nausea, but I'm not prone to nausea.

I take it around 7 or so, sometimes 8, while getting ready for the day. So roughly before breakfast depending on the day. It has never nauseated me, even on an empty stomach if for some reason I don't eat breakfast. I am also easily nauseated by other things. Tamoxifen hasn't done that yet.

7pm, no nausea and everything makes me nauseous. I've just had dinner usually so I'm sure that helps.

I started taking it at night with dinner. But had some issues and started taking it in the morning instead usually with my morning coffee and found it better, easier and no SE's.

I have my phone alarm set for 9pm. I usually just take it with water and have not been nauseated.

I took my first dose last night with dinner- figured that would hopefully mean I slept through any mild nausea. o far, so good.

I started getting night sweats, so a friend recommended that I split it. My oncologist told me it wouldn't hurt, so I take half my dose in the morning after breakfast and the other half right after dinner.
I've never had nausea with Tamoxifen. Other SEs...yes...but not nausea :-D
